Sky Bet Cheltenham Festival Offer-FIVE Places in Supreme Novices' Hurdle

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwire - March 8, 2012) - Yesterday, 7 March, Sky Bet kicked off Cheltenham betting at 3.00pm by offering a record 5 places on all each-way bets in the curtain-raising Supreme Novices' Hurdle, beating the usual three places currently on offer from all other bookmakers.

The amazing five places offer was available across all Sky Bet channels, including phone, internet and mobile from 3.00pm Wednesday, March 7.

Sky Bet's Head of Racing, Richard Horner, said: "The Supreme Novices' looks to be one of the most open renewals for many years, with Sky Bet currently 9/2 the field.

"We felt our customers needed a helping hand with the opening race so we will be offering not four, but five places on the opening race. It's a fantastic offer and should give Sky Bet customers the best possible chance of getting The Festival off to a winning start."

Champion jockey AP McCoy will be on the likely favourite Darlan (9/2), who was nominated as owner J P McManus' best chance of the meeting at a recent preview evening. The youngster has overcome a crunching fall he suffered when travelling well at Newbury two weeks ago and looks set to run well in The Festival opener on Tuesday.

Sky Bet are now non-runner, money back on all 27 Cheltenham races and will be offering 1/4 of the odds on all races and extra places every day of The Festival.
