Sky Poker Not Affected by the Action Taken by US Department of Justice Against Full Tilt

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwire - July 4, 2011) - In regard to the recent news of the action taken by the US Department of Justice against Full Tilt, followed on 29 June by Full Tilt's eGaming Licence being suspended by the Alderney Gambling Control Commission, Sky Poker can confirm that they are not affected by these actions and continue to operate as normal. Sky Poker does not accept customers from the US and complies with all rules and regulations of UK law.

The Alderney Gambling Control Commission, who regulate a number of companies who offer remote gambling into the UK, reported that their recent investigation found evidence that the company in question were working in violation of their licensing conditions. The commission's executive director, Andre Wilsenach commented:

"The decision to suspend the eGambling license was in the public interest and, because of the seriousness and urgency of the matter, it required that immediate action be taken."
