Skyfii Takes Flight in the United States

Significant Demand for Skyfii's Analytics and Marketing Platform Sees Company Open Office in Dallas, Texas

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA--(Marketwired - Jun 1, 2016) - Australian ASX-listed data services start-up, Skyfii, has opened an office in the United States to help bricks-and-mortar venues better engage with commercial tenants and visitors.

Founded in 2012, Skyfii provides an integrated suite of guest Wi-Fi, analytics and marketing tools to allow shopping centres and other venues to gather this data to inform better decisions. By providing opt-in Wi-Fi to visitors, the cloud-based solution also offers additional sales and marketing capabilities for venues by gathering information that can be shared with commercial tenants or departments.

Wayne Arthur, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, Skyfii, said the company has received demand from the US following successful guest Wi-Fi and analytics implementations in Australia, Brazil, South Africa and most recently, the United Kingdom, where it also opened an office.

Skyfii's North American business will be managed by Keith Morris and Charlie Clemmer, who have been appointed to the positions of Vice President Sales and Partnerships, and Senior Director of Technical Sales, respectively.

Morris joins Skyfii from Mobilitie, where he was Senior Director of Wi-Fi Solutions and Alliances with responsibility for developing and executing strategic partnerships and driving go-to-market programs. He has also held senior roles at Aerohive Networks and Aruba Networks, among others, in a career spanning nearly three decades.

Clemmer formerly worked at Aruba Networks, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company, where he was most recently Systems Engineering Manager and Consulting Systems Engineer. Clemmer has worked in the network engineering field for more than 21 years at the likes of Bay Networks, Cisco Systems, Infoblox and Nortel Networks. For the last 11 years, his focus has been on solving challenges around wireless networking and designing mobility-oriented solutions for customers.
