VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Dec. 19, 2006) - Further to its news release of December 11, 2006, Skyline Gold Corporation (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:SK) announces that the sample from the three metre intercept from Hole 200604 which previously assayed 11.374 g/t gold, re-assayed 21.163 g/t gold and the sample from the three metre intercept from Hole 200603 which previously assayed 4.448 g/t gold, re-assayed 2.955 g/t gold. The Company selected a total of twelve anomalous low grade and high grade gold and copper samples for further assay including additional samples from Hole 200604. These re-assays are anticipated to be available over the next two weeks. The Company plans to complete a current resource estimate for the Bronson Slope deposit that is complaint with National Instrument 43-101.

Mr. Cam DeLong, B.Sc., M.Sc. (Geology), and Mr. Lou Straith, A.Sc.T., managed the drilling program on the Bronson Slope property. Mr. A.A. Burgoyne, M.Sc., P.Eng. is the designated Qualified Person (Q.P.) for the project and has verified the data disclosed. Analyses for gold are with a 50 gram sub sample, fire assay fusion with ICP-ES (Induced Couple Plasma-Emission Spectrographic) finish; copper analyses are with a 1 gram sub sample, aqua regia digestion followed by ICP-ES finish; silver and molybdenum analyses are with a 0.5 gram sub sample, aqua regia digestion followed by ICP-ES finish.
