Skyline Announces Receipt of NI 43-101 Report on Johnny Mountain Claims

RICHMOND, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - April 25, 2007) - Skyline Gold Corporation (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:SK) announces the receipt of a National Instrument 43-101 technical report on the Company's Johnny Mountain claims located in northwestern British Columbia. The report was prepared by Gordon G. Richards, P.Geo. for Spirit Bear Minerals Ltd. ("Spirit Bear") on the properties optioned from the Company under the September 30, 2005 Mineral Property Option and Joint Venture Agreement (the "Agreement"). Spirit Bear is a private company registered in British Columbia.

The report recommends a two year program of surface exploration and 10,500 metres of diamond drilling, scheduled to commence in mid June 2007, weather permitting.

The Company and Spirit Bear have agreed to share expenses to reduce exploration costs during the 2007 drilling season. This will include the cost of mobilization of drills, drill crews, freight, fuel supply, and the repair, operation and maintenance of the Company's surface equipment.

The Company received the second instalment under the Agreement on March 29, 2007 with the payment of $40,000 in cash and 300,000 shares of Spirit Bear with a deemed value of $0.25 per share.

The Company's own National Instrument 43-101 technical report on the Bronson Slope gold-copper-silver-molybdenum property originally scheduled for March, 2007 has been delayed due to the time required to assemble and analyze additional data. This data is now available and is being incorporated into an expanded data base.

The report, which is now anticipated shortly, will provide a current resource estimate which will include molybdenum values not previously reported.
