Baer was selected to participate in this panel discussion based on his extensive knowledge of anti-spam technology, emerging email authentication technologies and compliance with federal legislation.

Baer will be joined on the panel by Luc Mathan of France Telecom and Suzane Morine of Bell Canada with Dale Malik of BellSouth serving as moderator. The panel will discuss public policy, MAAWG mission, gaps in current legislation and focus, scope of legislation vs. public and carrier concerns, and examples of legislative approaches worldwide.
