SkyRecon Appoints Eric Goldberg Director of Sales, North America

SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwire - February 26, 2008) - SkyRecon Systems (www.skyrecon.com), a strategic provider of unified endpoint security solutions, today announced that it has appointed Eric Goldberg as Director of Sales for North America. Goldberg joins SkyRecon from Microsoft, where he was North American Sales Manager responsible for Microsoft's edge security solutions under the Forefront brand.

Goldberg brings a wealth of sales experience to SkyRecon, including his time at Microsoft where he was responsible for launching and growing the IAG 2007 business, and at Whale Communications, where as Vice President of Sales he helped grow the business year-over-year, and where he personally helped close over 200 SSL VPN sales.

Also at Whale, Goldberg was instrumental in breaking the company's sales records for a single deal in three consecutive quarters. The company's rapid growth and key strategic relationships created by Goldberg led to its purchase by Microsoft.

Prior to Whale, Goldberg served as General Manager of Biodata Information Technology, running sales and marketing of the company's data encryption products in the Americas. During his tenure there he oversaw the global rollout of communications encryption, working with major defense contractors including Boeing, BAE, United Technologies and Northrop Grumman.
