SkyRecon Names Sean Martin Vice President of Marketing

SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwire - November 19, 2007) - SkyRecon Systems, a provider of unified endpoint security solutions, today announced the appointment of Sean Martin to Vice President of Marketing, reporting to SkyRecon COO Philippe Honigman.

Martin brings to SkyRecon 18 years of experience in building, launching, and marketing consumer and commercial products. He was previously director of marketing at eEye Digital Security of Aliso Viejo, Calif. Before that, he was senior manager of product marketing at Symantec Corporation, having spent 13 years in numerous product delivery, product launch, sales enablement, and marketing roles.

During his tenure at Symantec, Martin was responsible for launching and marketing the company's security and policy management solutions in the small/medium business market. He delivered a number of "firsts" for the company, ranging from the delivery, launch, and marketing of the first anti-virus product for Windows 95, the first enterprise client, firewall, and gateway anti-virus solutions, and the company's Security Event and Incident Management solution.

Prior to Symantec he served as a software engineer for Valley Crest Companies. He holds the CISSP certification from ISC2 and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
