Slalom Consulting Strengthens Leadership Team in San Francisco

Appointment of Seasoned Leaders Brings Industry Knowledge and Enhanced Services to Slalom's Bay Area Office

SEATTLE, WA and SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - April 29, 2008) - Slalom Consulting, ranked one of the best consulting firms to work for in the U.S., today announced the appointment of three new account managers, Steve George, Carl Johnson and David Van Diggelen, at the firm's rapidly growing San Francisco Bay Area office. The new team leaders will support further market growth as Slalom widens its footprint in Northern California. Slalom's San Francisco Bay Area office has maintained a rapid growth rate, securing new and ongoing assignments with high-profile clients including Apple, Charles Schwab, Cisco, eBay, Gap, Genentech, McKesson, Samsung, PG&E and Williams-Sonoma.

The team of new hires provides deep expertise and experience in management and technology consulting. George was formerly a partner with SJG Consulting, where he was instrumental in driving results on projects for large enterprises including Cisco, Network Appliance, Silicon Valley Bank and others. Prior to that, he held senior positions with Meritage Group, Bayshore Consulting and Accenture. In his role as account manager for Slalom, he will contribute to the management of projects at strategic clients and overall project planning and strategy.

In his new position, Johnson will play a leading role in business development and client services. He will also oversee Slalom's consulting teams at The Gap. Previously with Accenture, Johnson spearheaded program and project management for clients such as Cisco, Boeing, Hewlett-Packard and Xilinx. He holds certifications from the American Academy of Project Management and the Project Management Institute.

Van Diggelen comes to Slalom after 15 years at Deloitte Consulting, and also has previous experience at Accenture. He has a wide range of technology expertise, with a specialty focus on SAP ERP implementations related to business readiness. Van Diggelen has served clients in the consumer business, healthcare, energy and manufacturing verticals. He will focus on McKesson for Slalom's San Francisco office.
