Sleep Holdings, Inc. Appoints Kevin Asp as Executive Vice President

Mr. Asp to Contribute Industry Experience to Help Propel Company's Growth Strategy

DALLAS, TX -- (MARKET WIRE) -- March 7, 2007 -- Sleep Holdings, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: SLHJ) is pleased to announce the appointment of Kevin Asp as its Executive Vice President. This seasoned and accomplished veteran will bring invaluable expertise and insight to Sleep Holdings' innovative and unique mission of building a global sleep diagnostic center network. Sleep Holdings is fundamentally changing the way leading Sleep Diagnostic companies are conducting their global business.

Roy Mers, Sleep Holdings CEO, said, "We are delighted to have Mr. Asp come on board and take part in shaping our future. He will assist Sleep Holdings in further defining and advancing our unique approach to open innovation."

Mr. Asp has over 12 years experience in the Sleep Medicine field. He started his career by first completing the Respiratory Program at Brook Army Medical Center (BAMC) in San Antonio, Texas in 1991. He attended the Stanford School of Sleep Medicine in 1994 for more formal training and became a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist in 1996. While working as a Respiratory Therapist in Alaska, Kevin identified the need for sleep disorder centers and was instrumental in the development of one of the first sleep center programs in the state outside of Anchorage, Alaska.

In response to the exponential growth in the industry, Kevin identified the need for on-site formal training for entry level polysomnographic technologists and so he established Sleep Technology Institute (STI) in 1996. After three years of helping many other hospitals and free standing sleep centers develop successful sleep disorder programs, Kevin opened his first Independent Diagnostic Sleep Testing Facility in Sugar Land, Texas in 1999.

Today, Kevin has passed on ownership to Sleep Holdings, Inc. of his four businesses, Sleep Technology Institute, Ltd., Innovative Sleep Solutions, Inc., Sleep Business Solutions, Inc., and Alaska Sleep Clinic, Inc. He served as President for all four companies. He had a total of six free standing centers in Texas and Alaska, and managed several other successful sleep centers nationwide. STI is one of the first nationally recognized services to incorporate remote scoring, interpretation, and support through a proprietary IT network platform named Secure Encryption Envoy.

Kevin has served two consecutive terms on the Board of Directors for the Association of Polysomnographic Technologists (APT) from 1998 to 2002 in which he was involved in the development of the role of the polysomnographic technologist through education and business development. He also served as Advisor to the Executive Committee for the APT in 2003. During his term in the APT, he was responsible for developing and producing the APT's first multimedia training tool for polysomnographic technologists, which was the highest revenue generating product sold by the APT at the time.

Kevin looks forward to the opportunity of serving as Executive Vice President for Sleep Holdings, Inc. His experience, vision, and proven leadership within the industry will be a great asset to the Sleep Holdings team.

"Mr. Asp, Sleep Holdings' newly appointed Executive Vice President, is a respected leader in the sleep industry," said Dr. Michael Breus, Chairman of Sleep Holdings Clinical Advisory Board. "He will provide invaluable direction to Sleep Holdings' Governing Board and Senior Management as we continuously refine and expand our business."

"Mr. Asp's extensive clinical and operational experience will greatly enrich our executive knowledge base. His wealth of experience is invaluable to us," said Tim Kriske, Chief Operating Officer.
