Slendier Attends ECRM and has Interest With Low-Calorie Noodles

Retailers Showed Serious Interest in the Brand

BOCA RATON, FL--(Marketwired - August 08, 2016) - Slendier, an Australian company that distributes a line of low calorie, easy-to-prepare noodles, announced the company was successful in forging some important new connections when it attended the 2016 ECRM Diet, Vitamin & Sports Nutrition conference in Tampa, Florida.

This specific ECRM event gives companies in the nutritional, sports and health fields a chance to gather together and meet with some of the most influential retail buyers in their respective industries. Slendier Sales executives report outstanding performance at the event, and are very positive about their future coming out of it.

The low calorie recipe is based on the work of Mai V. Haven, who developed the line of healthy noodles initially as a way to help her husband Ray with his weight loss efforts. Looking back into her own heritage, she decided to have him try traditional Japanese noodles made from konjac.

Konjac is a root from the konjac plant. It is naturally water-soluble fiber with no fat, sugar, starch, or protein, contains zero net carbohydrates and zero calories. Slendier products are wheat and gluten free as well and Slendier products are so low in calories that they are zero points for Weight Watchers.

Since the dishes with Slendier are so low in calories it has been featured on cooking shows including several in Australia, where the brand originates. To date, Slendier noodles have become highly popular in Australia and Europe and now the brand is increasing its popularity in the US Market.

The konjac for the Slendier line is grown in China at a manufacturer that has been established more than 30 years and all products are quality tested to the highest standard. Water quality at the facility is tested everyday. Fair-trading is also a key element of the business.
