Small Business Advocacy Council Launches Energy Marketplace

New Program Cuts Residential and Business Energy Costs for Member Businesses

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwire - Jul 11, 2012) - The Small Business Advocacy Council (SBAC) announced its new Energy Marketplace providing member businesses with the opportunity to cut costs on residential and business energy.

The SBAC Energy Marketplace offers member businesses convenient access to energy providers to easily review and compare rate information, available options and to signup online. Participating energy partners include Consumer Energy Options, Hope Energy, TLG Power Brokers, Velocity Energy, and Veridian Energy.

"We are excited to support our membership with this new program," said Elliot Richardson, SBAC President. "The Energy Marketplace is yet another program the SBAC provides to our members that offers convenience and cost-savings for small businesses so they can succeed and prosper."

The SBAC Energy Marketplace can be accessed at: http://www.smallbusinessadvocacycouncil.org/sbac-marketplace. For every SBAC member that switches to a participating energy provider, a portion of the revenue is rebated to the SBAC.

The SBAC was established in 2010 and represents more than 500 small businesses in the Chicagoland area. The SBAC is a non-partisan, member driven organization that promotes the success of small business through political advocacy, support services and educational programs.
