Small Businesses Can Prosper Through Teaming Arrangement

BREMERTON, WA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- July 20, 2005 -- Advanced Technology Management Corporation (ADTMC) announced today that it will now offer a unique consortium opportunity designed to dramatically enhance the ability of small businesses to bid on large government contracts by sharing capabilities, capacity, business leads, preferential small business status, and contract instruments.

Concurrent Small Business Consortium (CSBC) was created in hopes of rapidly expanding the ability of small businesses to compete for and win large government contracts, especially multi-year, multi-million-dollar ones. This program enhances the effectiveness of the U.S. Small Business Administration's Small Business Act (Act), which ensures that a fair and representative share of government contracts are awarded to small businesses.

CSBC enables two to five small businesses to quickly merge their diverse capabilities and resources to form a teaming arrangement for the duration of their contract. This allows CSBC members to rapidly respond with a complete solution to any federal, state, or local agency needs. This arrangement creates a "win-win" situation for all parties by allowing small businesses to collectively qualify for contracts and procurement organizations to acquire a total package rather than making multiple buys.

In order to join CSBC and take advantage of its cradle-to-grave contract services, small businesses must be in business for at least two years, be able to demonstrate technical competence, and provide 10 to 15 commercial or government project references.

In addition to CSBC, ADTMC offers a Virtual Contract Administration program as an investment tool for local economic development organizations and private investors to invest in their communities and boost job creation by sponsoring a group of 10 small businesses for one year.

"My mission for this program is to super-accelerate access to the U.S. Government's worldwide procurement opportunities through our relentless teaming arrangement," said ADTMC co-founder Paul Park, "because it is extremely valuable in that it allows small businesses to compete at the same level and with the same vigor as that of large corporations."

Advanced Technology Management Corporation (ADTMC) is a Bremerton, WA-based for-profit government business incubation center providing small businesses and economic development organizations with innovative programs to enhance existing small business programs and increase revenue and create jobs.
