SmartMetric Brings the Ultimate One Card Digital Wallet

One or Many Cards on One Card Solution Protected and Authenticated by Biometrics

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Nov 25, 2013) - SmartMetric, Inc. (OTCQB: SMME) -- Speaking today from New York, SmartMetric™ Inc. President & CEO Chaya Hendrick said the SmartMetric biometric card with a self powered in-card fingerprint reader is able to store multiple credit cards in its internal memory. The SmartMetric digital wallet solution is a one or many cards on one card solution protected by biometrics. Activation of the card is controlled by a person's fingerprint which is swiped across a pencil line thin sensor. The sensor captures an image of the card owner's fingerprint which is immediately compared with the user's pre-stored fingerprint, encrypted and resident in the card's memory. Using a fast ARM processor inside the card, the fingerprint matching and validation occurs in sub 1 second. After a successful verification, the SmartMetric all in one card wallet has either or both its surface EMV chip or internal NFC chip activated. The SmartMetric wallet card has in its base unit 8 gigabytes of memory -- more than enough to store the details of over 100 regular credit cards.

The SmartMetric Card Wallet comes with a small EMV card reading USB adaptor for use in securing online transactions with the in-card fingerprint activation and user verification.

Coins, phones etc. will always be fringe payment products. The only mass appeal solution is one that will provide ubiquitous payment possibilities across all financial systems. Until you can use your mobile or other such device at an ATM system to retrieve cash, phones and coin type wallets will remain fringe players. And this is years away given how long it has taken for the USA to adopt a years old technology such as EMV chip cards for use in USA ATMs.
