Smartphone Experts Launches Windows Mobile-Focused Site

WMExperts.com to Serve as Valuable Information Resource for Those With Windows Mobile-Based Smartphones; "Prize-a-Day" Contest Part of Launch Activities

INVERNESS, FL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- February 12, 2007 -- Smartphone Experts, an e-commerce platform and smartphone accessory development company dedicated to ensuring that users of mobile communications devices have access to helpful information and great add-on products at great prices, has just launched a Windows Mobile-focused information resource website called WMExperts (www.wmexperts.com). Similar to its sister site, TreoCentral.com (www.treocentral.com), WMExperts will offer news, reviews, commentary and a community forum. It will also leverage newer technologies to provide "how to" videos to help familiarize Windows Mobile-based smartphone users with some of the many things they can do with their mobile device. And just like TreoCentral.com, there will be an affiliated store (http://store.wmexperts.com) which will carry a wide selection of accessories (cases, headsets, chargers, memory cards, etc.), with new items being added weekly.

Also, to celebrate the launch, WMExperts is holding a "Prize-a-Day" contest that will run for four (4) weeks starting on February 13, 2007, leading to a Grand Prize drawing for a smartphone of the winner's choice and $300 worth of accessories from the WMExperts store. Details are available at WMExperts.com.

Smartphone Experts is starting WMExperts.com to address a market that is gaining considerable traction. According to a recent Gartner report, during the fourth quarter of 2006,"Windows Mobile achieved its highest sales ever with PDA OS shipments exceeding 3.5 million compared with 2.2 million units in the fourth quarter of 2005." The report continues, "This strong quarter helped Windows Mobile to solidify its stronghold on the market with 56.1 percent market share for the full year. In 2006, shipments of Windows Mobile PDAs grew 38.8 percent to just under 10 million."

Furthermore, the recent release of Microsoft Windows Mobile 6 is triggering market growth as another round of new devices, such as the Motorola Q9, Toshiba G900, Samsung SCH-i760, and others have been unveiled during the 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona.

"Based on our experience over the last six years at TreoCentral, users want someone they can turn to -- a trusted advisor -- to help them sort through all the software, accessory and device-related information so they can ascertain in a very short period of time, what they need to know to optimize their life without draining their wallet," said Marcus Adolfsson, president of Smartphone Experts. "We plan on building upon the expertise gleaned from our years of running TreoCentral to tailor content and product offerings that will be particularly appealing to users of Windows Mobile based smartphones."

WMExperts is available at www.wmexperts.com. It is also accessible from smartphones and other web-enabled mobile devices at http://mobile.wmexperts.com/.
