November 25, 2010 09:00 ET Spotlights International Montoro Resources

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Nov. 25, 2010) - International Montoro Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:IMT)(PINK SHEETS:IMTFF)(FRANKFURT:O4T) will be focusing on its news rare earth property acquisitions in the Rocky Mountain Rare Metals Belt as well as advancing its 100 per cent Serpent River–Elliot Lake rare earth element and uranium project in northern Ontario. A third new discovery on the Serpent River property was recently reported in a summary of field work completed by the Ontario Geological Survey, which shines light on a strong geophysical anomaly in the northwest portion of the property. The new interpretation as to the source of the anomalies concludes that these lithologies may have the potential to host contact style nickel-copper-PGE mineralization.

With insatiable consumer demand for high tech electronics, clean energy mandates from countries around the globe, and the demand increasing as supplies are threatened, this is the recipe for much higher prices in rare earths and the companies that develop them.

REE's are critical components in many high-tech applications including hybrid motor vehicles, flat screen monitors, high-power magnets, consumable electronics (Blackberries, iPods, DVDs, cellular phones), green energy technology, fibre optics, super alloys for the aerospace and building industries, medical and dental lasers. But even more critical as far as Western governments are concerned is their use in high-tech strategic military and defense weaponry. Guided missiles and other precision weapons, for example, rely on rare earth metals and magnets to help direct their course.

CEO/President Gary Musil explains more in the Smartstox interview – November 22, 2010. Listen further in the interview from world-renowned consulting geologist Dr. Anthony (Tony) Mariano and Alex Knox, M.Sc., P.Geo. commenting on the rare earth mineral industry, geology and mineralogy.
