Smith Named Senior Vice President, Chief Lending Officer at TopLine Federal Credit Union


MAPLE GROVE, MN--(Marketwire - March 17, 2010) - Thomas Smith has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Chief Lending Officer at TopLine Federal Credit Union. Smith has been directing the lending function at TopLine since joining the credit union in May 2008. 

As senior vice president and chief lending officer, Smith is a member of TopLine's senior management team and oversees all aspects of the lending area including direct and indirect lending, underwriting, loan servicing, collections and TopLine's mortgage division. "In addition to many valuable contributions to TopLine's success in the lending area, Tom's ideas and leadership have had wide-ranging positive influences across the organization," said Harry Carter, President and CEO of TopLine.

Smith had 24 years of lending experience prior to joining TopLine, 14 of them at the executive level. He has a degree in economics from St. John's University in Collegeville, Minnesota.
