GREENWOOD, SC--(Marketwire - November 23, 2010) - The Flex-Tek Group of London-based Smiths Group P.L.C. today announced the promotion of Jay Schlageter to the position of Vice President and General Manager of its Flexible Solutions Division. Schlageter most recently served as Director of Operations for Flex-Tek Group.
A 13-year veteran of Flex-Tek, Schlageter supported the Thermaflex Group initially and spent the last six years managing several Flexible Solutions' lines of business. During his career with Flex-Tek, he held positions primarily in the operations management ranks, providing critical support to industrial, medical and floor care hose functional areas.
