SMSMobility, Inc.: Company Examines Additional Business Opportunities

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - July 5, 2005) - SMSMobility, Inc. (the "Company") (PINK SHEETS:SMSO) Rod Burns, President of SMSMobility, Inc. reports that associates of management have recently introduced a number of additional business opportunities to the Company. Certain of the opportunities appear to have significant economic merit and are of interest as possible business ventures for SMSMobility.

Of particular interest are certain opportunities in the Energy sector. More particularly, management has already identified a few projects of interest, and the Company is currently examining potential participation in a variety of different oil and gas ventures in North America, including opportunities in the service sector of the industry.

Although some of these opportunities are in business sectors outside the current core business focus of the Company, management remains committed to adding shareholder value by taking advantage of those opportunities which represent the best use of corporate capital and offer the greatest chance of maximizing the Company's return on investment. The exact nature of the Company's participation in any particular venture will be subject to availability of capital, total cost of the project, management's ability to negotiate terms favorable to the Company, and an assessment of the cost benefits analysis of alternative opportunities.
