SnackHealthy Receives $3 Million Order for Its Natural and Organic Food Products; Company Forms Healthient, New Export Division

JUPITER, FL--(Marketwired - Jan 29, 2014) - SnackHealthy, Inc. (OTCBB: SNAX) announced today the initial Asian roll out of organic pork sausages under its Organic Harvest brand and all natural sausages under its Adam & Eve brand. SnackHealthy successfully completed its first sample production run and order confirmation from Golden Acres Food Service in Manila, Philippines and will begin shipments in March. These orders also include the procurement and consolidation of organic meats and poultry for a total monthly commitment in excess of $250.000.

With 100 years in the gourmet sausage-making business in San Francisco, SnackHealthy's manufacturing partner went to great lengths to help the Company develop an extensive gourmet pork and chicken sausage line specifically created for Asian consumers.

"We are now talking with one of the largest retailers in Asia based in Hong Kong and developing a line of sausages with lower sodium and a line of six roasted turkey deli meats in smaller per unit packs," commented Richard Damion, CEO of SnackHealthy. 

"There has been steady growth in the specialty food sector in the Philippines for organic and natural products, especially through high-end hotels, resorts, restaurants and specialty food retailers. The market is also seeing continued cravings for pork and chicken sausage flavors. We developed an extensive line of sausages that are half the size of the sausages commonly sold by retailers in the USA to meet a price point better suited for the consumer in the Philippines," said Michele Chan, President of Golden Acres. 

Compared to the United States, most Asian consumers purchase fresh foods more frequently as they tend to have smaller households. They prefer small packs at around five ounces per package compared to a 13-16 ounce package typically sold in the United States.

Additionally, the Company formed Healthient as a division of SnackHealthy to focus on the export of branded organic and natural food products. "We are expanding our own product line and supporting other manufacturers in launching their brands through our extensive Asian distribution network. These shipments, along with other sales opportunities, will allow the company to generate significant revenue and profitability over the next twelve months," Damion stated.
