SNM Global Prepares for Wave Energy Solutions: "Global Ocean Energy Industry Can Be Worth $1 Trillion"

LONDON--(Marketwire - September 9, 2010) -  SNM Global Holdings (PINKSHEETS: SNMN) cites the recent Frost & Sullivan report to underscore and further validate its existing development of the Company's Small & Micro Hydro solutions.

In its new report entitled Hydro, Wave, and Tidal Power - Market Penetration and Roadmapping, Frost & Sullivan, the respected global market analyst, estimated that wave energy resources worldwide can generate as much as 6,000 terrawatt-hours of clean electricity annually -- twice as much as global nuclear production -- while tidal resources can generate as much as 700 TWh per year.

"The global ocean energy industry can be worth $1 trillion, as the world's oceans hold vast untapped potential that can be more reliable than other kinds of renewable energy sources such as wind or solar," Frost & Sullivan said.

The Company recently announced the launch of the its Small & Micro Hydro Technology Development Projects resulting from its recent technology acquisitions, and expects to further announcements regarding additional technologies to be developed for prepare commercialization and international distribution.

Based on internal market projections and asset appreciation over the market cycle, the Company values the technology acquisition at $12,500,000, and to be purchased through by the issuance of Preferred Stock. Redemption of the Preferred Stock is contemplated to contain several performance based terms relating to sales and market penetration, thus protecting shareholders and insuring equity appreciation.

The Small Hydro Development Projects represent important technologies to assist emerging economies to leapfrog into sustainable and independent energy-production.

Access to electricity is one of the keys to development, as it provides light, heat and power for productive uses and communication. Today 1.7 billion people in developing countries do not have access to electricity, most of them living in rural areas.

This transaction is the first in a series of anticipated acquisitions under the Agreement signed earlier this month with EQ-ip, a private technology and licensing holding company, to acquire, develop, distribute, and commercialize certain technologies from its portfolio.

The Company expects further advancement, projects and distribution agreements to result from these developments. Details can be found @ www.snmnglobal.com
