SnoopWall Acquires NetBeat NAC Technology and Business Unit From Hexis Cyber Solutions

Counterveillance Security Company Plans to Solve Intranet and Mobile Security Dilemma With Integrated BYOD and NAC Product Offering

NASHUA, NH--(Marketwired - May 28, 2015) -  SnoopWall, Inc. (www.snoopwall.com), the world's first counterveillance security company, announced, on the heels of being named one of the hottest and most innovative cybersecurity companies to watch in 2015 by Cyber Security ventures, that it has acquired the NetBeat NAC business unit and technology of Hexis Cyber Solutions, a KEYW company.

"It gives me great pleasure to announce the expansion of our portfolio at SnoopWall with the acquisition of the NetBeat NAC technology. Many of the partners and customers know and trust me as the technology inventor and I am humbled by that honor. We plan to show our appreciation to all partners and customers by honoring their existing contracts and offering them the opportunity to continue to get one step ahead of the next threat by managing their BYOD dilemma right from within their NetBeat dashboard," said Gary S. Miliefsky, CEO of SnoopWall, Inc. and original inventor of both technologies.

Gartner Research now estimates that more than 80% of security breaches continue to happen behind the corporate firewall. Many of them are due to rogue, malicious and infected devices in the form of smartphones and tablets coming and going in what is called the Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) dilemma.

"Effective today, the patented NetBeat NAC appliances will be rebranded under the NetSHIELD brand of SnoopWall. We plan to launch an integrated and innovative Counterveillance offering that will also include our MobileSHIELD endpoint technology (built using our AppSHIELD SDK) for all major mobile platforms in less than 90 days. This will provide our channel partners and enterprise customers in banking, retail and new markets, the opportunity to solve the two most difficult security challenges in their organizations -- (1) malicious insider risk and (2) roaming, personally owned unmanaged mobile devices," said Mark Laich, VP of Security Solutions, SnoopWall, Inc.
