SNS Silver Announces Drill Results

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Sept. 9, 2008) - SNS Silver Corporation ("SNS" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:SNS) is pleased to announce additional assay results from the Company's diamond drilling program at the Crescent Property near Kellogg, Idaho.

Highlights of the results are as follows:

- Diamond drill hole H-104 grades 10.2 troy ounces of silver per ton (349 grams per tonne) with a true width of 1.4 ft (0.4 meters) covering the interval from 327.6 to 329.6 ft.

- Diamond drill hole H-105 grades 38.1 troy ounces of silver per ton (1306 grams per tonne) with a true width of 1.8 ft (0.5 meters) covering the interval from 364.7 to 368.3 ft.

- Diamond drill hole H-106 grades 14.8 troy ounces of silver per ton (507 grams per tonne) with a true width of 0.7 ft (0.2 meters) covering the interval from 369.0 to 370.0 ft.

- Diamond drill hole H-107 grades 43.9 troy ounces of silver per ton (1503 grams per tonne) with a true width of 0.5 ft (0.2 meters) covering the interval from 173.1 to 173.7 ft.

- Diamond drill hole H-109 grades 19.2 troy ounces of silver per ton (658 grams per tonne) with a true width of 2.8 ft (0.9 meters) covering the interval from 412.4 to 420.8 ft.

- Diamond drill hole SNS-208 grades 54.0 troy ounces of silver per ton (1849 grams per tonne) with a true width of 0.5 ft (0.2 meters) covering the interval from 690.8 to 693.0 ft.

- Diamond drill hole SNS-901 grades 9.3 troy ounces of silver per ton (318 grams per tonne) with a true width of 3.1 ft (0.9 meters) covering the interval from 684.6 to 690.0 ft.

All drill holes are NQ core size with recoveries exceeding 90% and were processed following rigorous quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) procedures.

"These intercepts occur within a broad zone of alteration that has hosted minor historic production from veins such as the Gray Copper vein and Steep Lead vein," said SNS Senior Geologist Brian White, Ph.D. "The favorable alteration extends several hundred feet into the hanging wall of the Alhambra Fault, and suggests the potential for additional ore shoots accessible from the main haulage level." Further work is necessary to determine continuity between the intercepts.

The results for these holes represent new opportunities that are not directly associated with the resource definition drilling on the Company's Alhambra vein and South vein discoveries. Additional intercept results for the Alhambra and South veins will be released in the coming weeks.

Quality Assurance / Quality Control Procedures for Sampling at the Crescent Project

SNS Silver follows rigorous QA/QC procedures developed by staff geologists with guidance from SRK Consulting (USA), that are designed to produce an accurate dataset to serve as the basis for comprehensive mine planning. These procedures include ensuring secure custody of drill core and samples throughout their processing, as well as the insertion of blanks, standards, and duplicates into the sample stream. ALS Chemex serves as the primary analytical laboratory.

Lisa Hardy, Licensed Geologist, Chief Geologist of the Crescent Project, is a qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101 and has supervised the technical preparation of this press release.

SNS Silver Corporation (TSX VENTURE:SNS) is an exploration company, whose primary asset is the 100% owned Crescent Property, which hosts the historic Crescent Mine, located near Kellogg, Idaho.
