SNS Silver Drills 739 g/t (21.6 opt) Over 2.22 Metres on South Vein

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Dec. 5, 2007) - SNS Silver Corp. ("SNS") (TSX VENTURE:SNS) announces that diamond drill hole SNS-307 intercepted the South Vein and returned an average grade of 21.6 oz/t (739 g/t) of silver over a core length of 7.27 feet (2.22 metres). The SNS-307 intercept has an estimated true width of 5.13 feet (1.56 metres) between 890.65 to 897.92 feet.

Highlights from diamond drill hole SNS-307 include:

- 67.2 oz/t (2,304 g/t) Ag at 0.43 feet (true width)

- 30.6 oz/t (1,049 g/t) Ag at 0.52 feet (true width)

The SNS-307 intercept is located approximately 135 ft (41.1 metres) up-dip and 400 feet (122 metres) west of previously reported ore grade South Vein intercepts in SNS-305a and also about 460 feet (140 metres) up-dip and 235 feet (72 metres) west of ore grade in SNS-403. Results from SNS-403 and SNS-305a were previously announced on September 10th and October 17th, 2007, respectively. SNS-307 is the most westerly South Vein intercept on the Crescent property and extends its apparent strike length to at least 900 feet (274 metres). The intercept is approximately 1,570 feet (479 metres) above the Hooper Tunnel, the main haulage level. The ore grade portion of the South Vein that has been identified during the Phase I, year 2007 surface drill program remains open at least 4,500 feet downward as well as east and west.

A sub-ore grade intercept of the South Vein was obtained in drill hole SNS-306a, located 207 feet (63 metres) east of SNS-307 at approximately the same elevation. This intercept is above a line connecting ore grades in holes SNS-307 and SNS-305a and possibly indicates that an upper limit of ore grades rakes downward toward the east, following the intersection of favorable strata against the vein.

In addition, SNS-307 and SNS-306a each drilled a half meter wide vein 200 to 300 feet (65 to 90 metres) in the footwall of the South Vein, which contained low silver values.

Complete results of SNS-307 and SNS-306a are as follows:

All the silver samples are reported fire assay (FA) and atomic absorption (AA). The copper and lead results are reported by inductively coupled plasma (ICP). Assays were performed by Chris Christopherson, Inc. of Smelterville, Idaho and American Analytical Services, Inc. of Osburn, Idaho. The diamond drilling to date is NQ and NQ2 size and all assay results are within the parameters of the quality control standards, within SNS' quality control and assurance program.

The samples in drill hole SNS-306a were analyzed by Chris Christopherson, Inc. and all the silver samples are reported AA except the interval from 824.22 to 824.46 feet, which was done by FA. In drill hole SNS-307, samples were analyzed by American Analytical Services, Inc., and are reported AA from the intervals 670.45 to 674.84 feet and as FA from 882.00 to 907.14 feet. Other drill results that SNS Silver is waiting for are drill hole intercepts SNS-704a, SNS-706a, SNS-603 and SNS-604. These intercepts have assays pending and results will be released in a timely manner.

SNS Silver Corporation (TSX VENTURE:SNS) is an exploration mining company, whose primary asset is the 100% owned Crescent Mine located in Kellogg, Idaho - one of the largest silver districts in North America with over one billion ounces of silver produced. The property consists of 24 patented mining claims over approximately 350 acres, alongside 15 acres of surface rights. The Company currently has a comprehensive and well-funded drill program underway. Their main focus is on upper country surface drilling and underground drilling on the Alhambra and South Veins, as well as restoration of the Hooper Tunnel, drifting and cross-cutting.

Historical resource estimates quoted herein are based on data and reports obtained and prepared by previous operators. The Company has not completed the work necessary to independently verify the classification of the mineral resource estimates and is not treating the mineral resource estimates as National Instrument 43-101 defined resources verified by a qualified person.
