On May 15, the urban escape is kicking off its popular Sunday rooftop pool parties to coincide with the San Diego Bikini Parade, a preview to San Diego's third annual Bikini Week.

As part of the Bikini Week festivities, Andaz will be the start and finish line of San Diego's second Bikini Parade. On Sunday, May 15 at 2 p.m., hundreds of bikini-clad girls from all over Southern California will gather in an attempt to break a Guinness World Record by marching over a mile in nothing but bathing suits until they reach the doors of the Andaz. Already dressed in the appropriate attire, the ladies will be led upstairs to the Ivy Rooftop to dive into the summer's first pool party with entertainment by DJ Este.
And, on Friday, May 20th, Andaz San Diego will host Bikini Week's Fashion Show event. Guests can explore the action in the Ivy Wine Bar, Nightclub and Rooftop as photographers take shots of the Bikini Week models. During the rooftop bikini fashion show, guests will discover the hottest summer swimwear trends as designers showcase their newest styles on aspiring and professional models.
Andaz San Diego will feature a series of eight Sunday pool parties throughout the summer, including four Fortune Industries events on May 29, July 3, August 14 (Elevation Bikini Fashion Show) and September 4. The remaining four Sunday parties will be a rooftop water haven for local hipsters who want nothing more than to relax poolside with a mojito in hand.
