New Apps Make Errands Easier for On-the-Go Shoppers

The free apps provide iPhone users the ultimate on-the-go access to and, making it faster and easier than ever to get errands done anytime, anywhere. The groundbreaking apps are designed to bring the easy browsing and shopping experience of the full sites to mobile fingertips everywhere.

Unique features of the and apps include:

  • Offline functionality:
    Completing errands while on the subway, in an airplane or anywhere else with spotty service is now possible. Existing and customers can access and reorder their previously purchased items through the MyLists feature -- even without WiFi or 3G access. MyLists are stored locally, allowing customers to complete 95 percent of their purchase offline. Customers are then automatically prompted to complete their purchase when the iPhone regains service.

  • Scan to save and shop:
    UPC code scanning functionality enables users to scan products running low at home and add them directly to their shopping carts. The mobile scanner can also be used to scan in-store barcodes to price compare or to instantly share product recommendations with friends.

  • Easy one cart checkout:
    Orders can be placed directly from the iPhone with a few taps, making it possible to complete errands in under 30 seconds and while on the go. If users are not ready to buy, they can add items to their shopping cart and access later from any device. As always, no matter where customers shop from, all orders are delivered in 1-2 days.
