Social Media Club Vancouver to Sponsor Projecting Change Film Festival May 17th

Official Kick-Off Features Social Media Workshops Designed for the Film Community

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - May 10, 2011) -

Social Media Club Vancouver announced today that has become a community partner for this year's Projecting Change Film Festival (http://projectingchange.ca/), May 26-29, 2011. SMCYVR kicks off the festivities Tuesday, May 17 at 6:30 pm with local filmmakers telling their success stories then moving into series of workshops focused on assisting the film community to better share their work through social channels.

The workshops will be held at Hive Vancouver, a new, innovative workspace located at 210 128 W Hastings St. Tickets are $20 and are available on the Festival site http://projectingchange.ca/tickets/. Workshop seating has been limited and expected to sell quickly.

Workshop sessions will include:

  • Camille Jensen from Axiom News on asking the right questions and writing with a focus on strengths.
