PetSmart Invites You to Celebrate at Our Pet Birthday Party

PHOENIX, AZ--(Marketwire - April 17, 2008) - PetSmart (NASDAQ: PETM) is celebrating its 21st birthday with a birthday party -- for pets. On Tuesday, April 22 from 6 to 8 p.m., PetSmart® will host a birthday party and photo event. Pets can learn how to "high five" with accredited PetSmart trainers and show off their new trick in a "high five" contest at 7 p.m. Pets wearing creatively decorated party hats can compete in the 7:30 p.m. pet party hat contest.

It's our birthday, and we can invite who we want to (you and your pets)

  • Celebrate Tuesday, April 22 from 6 to 8 p.m. at any PetSmart store.


  • Accredited pet trainers will help get your pet in competitive form for the "high five" contest.


  • The party features two contests in which pets can compete to win a PetSmart gift card: a "design your own" pet party hat contest and a "high five" contest where pets can showcase their new-found skill.


  • PetSmart's Pet Birthday Party also includes goodie bags and the opportunity for pets to pose for a free picture (with frame). Supplies are limited, so get there early.
