Social TV Summit Announces the 2013 Latin Social TV Award Winners From Miami

Top TV Networks, Entertainers, Executives and Companies Are Honored in the Latin Social TV Market Showcase

MIAMI, FL--(Marketwire - Mar 4, 2013) - Social TV Summit today officially announced the winners of their Latin Social TV Awards that took place February 28, part of the Social TV Summit Miami Friday, March 1. All finalists and winners were honored for their innovations and excellence within the Social TV industry, specifically within the Hispanic, Latin and South American market segments.

Seventeen different award categories honored individuals, brands, technology solution providers and networks that are at the forefront of developing and creating social TV advancements. Winners were named in the following categories: Best Special Entertainment Latin Social TV Award; Best Online Video Latin Social TV Award; Best Connected TV Latin Social TV Award; Best Mobile Phone, iPad or Tablet Application Latin Social TV Award; and Latin Social TV Award Best of Show.

Judging the finalists was a select group of top industry executives, including Mark Lopez, head of U.S. Hispanic audiences for YouTube; Mo Krochmal, Founding Editor, Social TV Daily; Seth Shapiro, governor of Interactive Media Peer Group and Academy of Television Arts & Sciences; and other respected media industry executives.
