SocialFolders Teams Up With Evernote to Bring You 'Social Memory'

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - Jan 31, 2012) - SocialFolders, the only application that lets you easily manage, sync and truly own any file on the social Web, today announced its integration with Evernote to bring you the ultimate social memory service.

With the new integration, Evernote users can easily add any content from the social Web -- including Facebook, Flickr, Twitter, Instagram and Picasa -- to their Evernote account. The integration also includes Google Docs and Box for bringing file collaboration together with memory organization.

To get going, simply add Evernote as a new service in your SocialFolders app. (If you don't have SocialFolders already, grab the free app here). You'll then be able to add any set of files or albums from your favorite social sites to Evernote. For example, that group trip you just took to Europe. Find trip pics from your Facebook friends, drag-and-drop from Facebook to Evernote in SocialFolders, and the photos will be added to your trip's notebook instantly.

"Evernote has pioneered the way we remember everything, regardless of where we are, what device we're using or what it is we want to remember," said Philippe Honigman, founder and CEO of SocialFolders. "We're excited to bring the ability to add the rich content living in our social memory to the huge Evernote user community through today's integration."

"Evernote's goal is to help people save and use all of their memories and experiences. SocialFolders is a great example of a developer that's expanding how people can do that," said Seth Hitchings, VP of Platforms Strategy at Evernote. "By integrating with Evernote, SocialFolders has created a new way for our users to interact with the files in their accounts and those they come across in their daily lives. We're excited to see this innovative approach."

SocialFolders launched to the public last month and is rethinking the way you can manage your dynamic, social online content -- from Facebook to Flickr -- all in one place. SocialFolders is free for anyone to start using, with additional features available in its premium version. For more information, please visit www.socialfolders.me.
