Socialware Announces Q1 Release of Its Social Business Platform

Latest Product Update Includes Enhanced Review, Content Organization Capabilities

AUSTIN, TX--(Marketwired - May 6, 2014) - Socialware, the leading social business solution provider for regulated industries, today announced the latest quarterly release of its platform. The first quarter 2014 focused on key developments to enhance review capabilities for compliance and to make content organization even easier for marketers. Socialware solutions systematically minimize the risk to the firm while confidently activating public social networks as powerful revenue channels. All new capabilities are immediately available to customers.

Enhanced Review and Moderation
Socialware's new Enhanced Review and Moderation functionality extends the current moderation functionality Socialware's platform already offers. The new enhancements include Multi-Step Review, which allows for multiple levels of review and approval of profiles and status updates. This new capability enables firms to more easily manage oversight of profiles and content across large-scale deployments. Existing moderation capabilities also have been enhanced to include comprehensive in-line editing and support for auto-generated compliance ID tags. All of these improvements make it easier for compliance to review and approve the social activity of large groups of advisors and shortens the approval cycles for advisors as they onboard onto social.

"Compliance is a priority for our firm, and that includes the use of social media. The ability to implement multiple reviewers and to be able to provide in-line edits to profiles makes the compliance process faster," said Matt Metzler, social media and web consultant for Stifel.

Voices Topics Enhancements
Socialware's Voices marketing portal enables marketing teams to distribute pre-approved social media posts and content that advisers can then share to their social networks. This product update delivers enhanced organizational capabilities to facilitate advanced content marketing initiatives. Improved content hierarchies and segmentation make it easier for advisors to navigate and search for the information and posts they want to share.

"Having relevant content to share is key to building trust and relationships on social for our advisors," said Beth Wood, 2nd vice president, life product and agency marketing for The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America. "The ability to organize content by topic makes it easier for our advisors to find the content that will help them nurture their relationships on social."

"We are always looking for ways to improve our product and we invite our clients into our product development and roadmap discussions so we can incorporate new features and functionality that will maximize their use of social media," said Bruce Milne, executive vice president for Socialware. "The enhanced capabilities we introduced over this past quarter for compliance and marketing ultimately benefit and improve the user experience for the advisor, which translates to increased use of social to grow relationships and generate business."
