Socialware Announces Q3 Release of Its Social Business Platform

Latest Product Update Includes Features That Enhance the User Experience and Add Compliance Functionality

The third quarter focused on key developments to enhance the user experience and to extend capabilities for ensuring compliance. Included in the release are an Account Delegation capability that enables financial professionals to share the burden of managing their social network accounts with an assigned delegate and new archive tags to make it even easier for Compliance officers to manage social updates at enterprise scale. These new capabilities provide financial services firms Social Assurance and Social Scale; Socialware solutions systematically minimize the risk to the firm while confidently activating public social networks as powerful revenue channels. All new capabilities are immediately available to customers.

Socialware Account Delegation allows users to share common tasks associated with maintaining their presence on social media in a secure and compliant manner. A financial professional can assign a delegate -- like a sales assistant -- to perform social media activities on their behalf, without having access to the financial professional's personal social media account or information. Common activities for a delegate include managing pre-approved profile changes with Socialware Profile Manager and posting messages to LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter through Socialware Voices. With Account Delegation, a complete, permanent archive record is available detailing both user and delegate information.

As a compliance enhancement, Socialware added new archive tags that provide additional information that Compliance officers can use to quickly tell which social media posts and profile changes have been moderated and which do not meet policy guidelines. With these tags, Compliance teams can identify in the archive which items have been through pre-view and don't require additional post-review, easing the burden of post-review at enterprise scale.
