Sociocast Launches Audience Platform and Partners With Real-Time Bidding Platform Companies to Deliver Real-Time Audiences to the Marketplace

Data Partnerships With BackType, OpenAmplify and RapLeaf Solidify Company's Mission to Offer Publishers and Content Companies Tools to Identify, Engage and Monetize Audiences

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - September 27, 2010) -  Sociocast, the real-time audience data company, today announced partnerships with BackType, OpenAmplify and RapLeaf and the launch of its private beta dashboard for publishers and content companies. The first platform to provide global, integrated audience insights, the Sociocast dashboard delivers actionable insights and measurement, in real-time, to help editorial and direct sales teams identify, engage and monetize audiences.

"Today's audience data is not aligned with the potential of real-time bidding and existing behavioral segmentation techniques are outdated -- a new science is needed," said Albert Azout, CEO, Sociocast. "The Sociocast platform is purpose-built to deliver rich, high performance, highly predictive segments and by securing working agreements with top-tier partners and integrating those technologies, we are able to increase publisher yield and help publishers optimize content, maximize audience revenues and gain transparency to control their data."

Sociocast's partnerships with these leading companies strengthens the Sociocast platform and the combined offering enables Sociocast's customers to extrapolate rich, dynamic audiences that adapt to changing consumer behavior, receive better insights into how their content performs and help make editorial decisions more intelligently. This also allows publishers to provide deeper insights to their advertisers.

  • BackType is a marketing intelligence company that develops products and services that help companies understand their social impact. The integration of BackType into the Sociocast platform gives publishers more in-depth insights on how their content is performing on social media platforms.
  • OpenAmplify is a technology company specializing in natural language processing and text analysis. Sociocast's partnership with OpenAmplify allows publishers to understand a user's interests and intentions more richly and allows for increased accuracy for monetization.
  • RapLeaf is personalizing people's online experiences by bringing new and effective segments into the online advertising marketplace. By partnering with RapLeaf, Sociocast allows publishers using the Sociocast platform to better understand the social composition of their audiences.

"Sociocast is thinking exactly the right way. Advertisers now want to buy 'audiences,' not just behaviours," said Mark Redgrave, founder and CEO, OpenAmplify. "We are delighted that OpenAmplify has been chosen to data around the actual meaning of user conversation to Sociocast's innovative new platform."

Sociocast's private beta is available immediately to publishers and content companies interested in identifying, engaging and monetizing audiences and can be accessed by visiting the Sociocast website, and registering for the beta.
