Socket Communications Names Ketchum Public Relations Agency of Record

NEWARK, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- January 17, 2007 -- Socket Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: SCKT), an innovative provider of mobile productivity products, today announced the appointment of Ketchum as its public relations agency of record. Ketchum's technology team in San Francisco leads the account with support provided by select Ketchum offices in Europe.
