Softchoice Appoints Bill Linton to Chairman of the Board

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Feb. 23, 2011) - Softchoice Corporation (TSX:SO), a leading North American provider of IT solutions and services, is pleased to announce the appointment of Bill Linton to Chairman of the Softchoice board.

"Mr. Linton has been an active and distinguished member of our board since he was first appointed more than five years ago," said David MacDonald, president and CEO of Softchoice. Mr. Linton is the Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Rogers Communications Inc., Canada's largest wireless services provider and a market leader in cable television, radio and print media. Mr. Linton has held various executive level positions throughout his career. In addition to senior roles in finance at SHL Systemhouse Inc., Rogers Wireless and Rogers Cable, Mr. Linton managed the sale of Prior Data Services Inc., to X-wave Solutions while serving as Prior Data's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Linton holds a bachelor of commerce degree from St. Mary's University and is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
