Software and Information Industry Association Appoints SRI Researcher Valerie Crawford to Board of Directors

MENLO PARK, CA--(Marketwire - November 27, 2007) - SRI International, an independent nonprofit research and development organization, today announced that Valerie Crawford, a senior research scientist in SRI's Center for Technology in Learning, has been appointed to the Education Division board of directors of the Software and Information Industry Association (SIIA). This is Crawford's second one-year appointment to the SIIA Board.

The SIIA Education Division Board consists of representatives from member companies who are selected by the SIIA membership. Board members prioritize Education Division initiatives for the year and determine projects, activities, and events for the year.
