Software Leader Cesare Capobianco Appointed UC4 Software Chief Sales Officer (CSO)

By Year End to Assume President and Chief Executive Officer Role

WOLFSGRABEN, AUSTRIA--(Marketwire - May 14, 2008) - UC4 Software, a leading global provider of workload automation and IT process optimization solutions, today announced the appointment of Cesare Capobianco as Chief Sales Officer (CSO). By the end of 2008, Mr. Capobianco will also assume the role of President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), succeeding Franz Beranek who will take on a strategic UC4 Advisory Board role.

Mr. Capobianco brings more than 20 years of systems software leadership to UC4, most recently as the Vice President of Sales, EMEA for BMC Software and Vice President and General Manager of Hewlett-Packard's Software Global Business Unit, EMEA. While at BMC Software, Mr. Capobianco was instrumental in growing profitability and revenue while transforming the company in Europe. In his HP role Mr. Capobianco managed the infrastructure management software HP Openview, HP Utility Data Center and HP Opencall telco software. He had overall P&L responsibility, including distribution, sales, channel programs and marketing.

Mr. Capobianco's appointment represents the dawn of a new era at UC4 Software.
