Sola Resource Corp- Clarification of Issues

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - April 27, 2009) - As a result of a review by the Alberta and British Columbia Securities Commissions, Sola Resource Corporation ("the Company") (TSX VENTURE:SL) (PINK SHEETS:SORSF) is issuing the following news release, for the benefit of investors, to make corrections to comments made in its news release of May 24, 2007 and on its website. This release will also clarify the nature of Company's engagement of VSA Capital as its corporate finance arranger in the United Kingdom and Europe. It should be noted however, that the engagement of VSA Capital ceased in 2008.

In 2007, VSA Capital in the course of its engagement produced its own research note for institutional clients within the United Kingdom and Europe. This research note was expressly stated not to be intended for publication or distribution to persons in the USA and Canada. Thus, investors should not rely upon the non-compliant and premature information and deductions, including mineral resource or reserve estimates and economic analysis for the Carolina property contained within the aforesaid report in any investment decisions. The Company wishes to emphasize that the research and subsequent conclusions in that report were arrived at independently by VSA staff and were not those of the Company.

In the aforesaid release the Company stated it had "commenced its pre-feasibility study of the Carolina kimberlite diamond deposit" . The Company also referred to the pre-feasibility study on its website. In order to understand the issues in this regard the reader is referred to the document "National Instrument 43-101 - Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects (NI-43-101) of December 30, 2005. The definitions of "mineral resource" and "pre-feasibility" should be specifically noted. The Company wishes to inform investors that the term "pre-feasibility" was technically incorrect, for the Company did not and still does not have a mineral resource at the Carolina kimberlite site in Brazil.

Prof. Roger Morton P.Geol, a qualified person under NI-43-101, is responsible for the issuance of this news release.

We seek safe harbor.
