Sola Resource Corp. Records Up to 58.1% Manganese During Recent Exploration Work in Rondonia State, Brazil

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - April 28, 2009) - Sola Resource Corporation (TSX VENTURE:SL) (PINK SHEETS:SORSF) has received assays from its its expanded exploration program for Manganese deposits in the State of Rondonia. As previously announced on April 14, 2009, Sola has discovered a new area (the Jaburi area) containing Manganese mineralization near surface. 6 sampling pits have already been sunk on the deposit and those have all revealed what appears to be massive manganite (MnOOH) and pyrolusite. Currently the mineralized area extends over 6140 square metres and the deposit appears to be open in all lateral directions.

Partial analyses from samples of 3 distinct manganese occurrences discovered in the region to date (namely the SFV deposit, the SFHP deposit and the new Jaburi deposit) are presented below for comparison.
