Solar Energy Initiatives, Inc. Launches New Websites, www.solarenergy.com and www.snrysolar.com

Unveils New Corporate Marketing Identity

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, FL--(Marketwire - March 11, 2010) -  Solar Energy Initiatives, Inc. (OTCBB: SNRY), with businesses in solar project development, distribution and workforce training, launched the beta version of its new website, www.solarenergy.com, along with its new corporate marketing identity.

"The launch of the new www.solarenergy.com web site is the next step in our multi-phase branding and marketing strategy," said Mr. David Fann, CEO. "Solar Energy Initiatives and its operating groups represent a comprehensive solution for the entire solar supply chain. Our digital properties will reflect this and continue evolving as a channel to educate energy consumers on the benefits of solar, driving downstream demand and linking buyers with sellers."

SNRY Solar has three principal operating groups. The Project Services Group (PSG) is a developer and integrator of large-scale municipal and commercial solar installations, managing the project lifecycle from feasibility studies and financing to operation and maintenance. The Integrated Supply Group (ISG) is a wholesale distributor of branded photovoltaic and thermal (water heating) systems selling via a network of buyers throughout the United States and the Caribbean. The SolarEos Group is an affinity group dedicated to the creation, education, advancement and continuous improvement of small business solar contractors, integrators and installers.

"Today, we also launched our new corporate identity, the SNRY Solar brand and www.snrysolar.com, our new corporate website," said Mr. Chris Wirth, Chief Marketing Officer. "SNRY Solar will continue to expand its brand promise, not only as a national wholesale distributor of PV (photovoltaic) and TSS (thermal solar systems), but as a practitioner of best practice training and business education for solar contractors and the construction trades through our newly formed Solar Eos Group. Shortly, we will be announcing a new program for our dealers to aid their growth and drive further demand for our collective business model."

The Company is also the force behind the "Renew the Nation" campaign, a national movement to drive the mass adoption of solar energy. Renew the Nation unites a broad alliance of public and private sector interests focused on workforce development, technical training, job creation, consumer adoption and economic growth through solar energy. From local and state governments to builders and manufacturers, the mission is to unify stakeholders with an interest in accelerating the U.S. solar economy.

Last week, SNRY initiated its "Renew the Nation" education program, a publicly and privately funded technical training academy that teaches unemployed workers how to install photovoltaic (solar electricity) and thermal (solar hot water) systems. The Company also entered into a distribution agreement with AET (Alternate Energy Technologies), a leading U.S. solar thermal manufacturer. Last month, Solar Energy Initiatives also made an announcement concerning its Renew the Nation campaign with the State of South Carolina and the North Eastern Strategic Alliance (NESA), about the creation of a solar showcase to create jobs and drive economic growth.
