Solar Wind Energy Tower Inc. Files Provisional Patent Application for Multifunctional Lifting Mechanism

ANNAPOLIS, MD--(Marketwired - April 21, 2015) - Solar Wind Energy Tower, Inc. (OTCQB: SWET) (the "Company"), the inventor of large Solar Wind Downdraft Tower structures capable of producing abundant, inexpensive electricity, today announce that the Company has filed a new provisional patent application with the United States Patent & Trademark Office, depicting a multifunctional, rotating lifting mechanism.

This patent application embodies a variety of creatively innovative adaptations for lifting and maneuvering materials and personnel around the circumference, as well as the entire internal area of a large circular opening at the top of an elevated structure. The device's substructure is designed to be able to maneuver vertically up and down along a rotating axis to provide enhanced mobile flexibility and reach with sufficient lifting capacity.
