SolarBrook Water and Power Announces New Proposal Requests for Western U.S.

Requests Originated Through the Company's Recent Distribution Agreement With Resource Management Technologies

RALEIGH, NC--(Marketwire - May 9, 2008) - SolarBrook Water and Power Corporation (PINKSHEETS: SWPC), a developer, manufacturer and marketer of water quality and clean power products, announced today that it has dispatched staff to the western United States to address several requests for proposals from companies in a variety of industries.

These requests have come from a meat processing plant in central California requiring water treatment, odor control, and energy mapping used to maximize the use of reusable energy; an agricultural facility in central California for water treatment, odor control, and energy mapping; and a water treatment project and odor control issue in Puget Sound in Washington state.

Each of these requested proposals are a direct result of the distribution agreement that SolarBrook entered into with Resource Management Technologies, LLC last month. Resource Management Technologies is a disabled veteran owned North Carolina Limited Liability Company that specializes in providing products and services to public sector and governmental agencies.

Solarbrook Water and Power Corporation is an international provider of water treatment solutions, treating water for industrial, municipal, and residential customers. The Company builds and markets filtration and treatment systems to reduce harmful contaminants like arsenic, elements, and compounds from potable water.

"As expected, our relationship with Resource Management Technologies has almost immediately developed into requests for proposals, at least some of which we expect to ultimately turn into projects for the company," said George Moore, CEO of SolarBrook.
