Solarbrook Water and Power Corporation Business Update

CARY, NC--(Marketwire - February 23, 2010) - Solarbrook Water and Power Corporation (PINKSHEETS: SLRW), a developer, manufacturer and marketer of water quality and clean power products, began the month of February with an increased interest in the company's technologies.

We have received a significant number of requests for sales proposals for various applications. A few of the projects quoted include: a lift station in Chatham County, NC, an Arkansas based wastewater business with a specialized waste problem requiring a high level of oxygen to aid in the digestion of high BOD levels, and a group working in the energy field related to putting CO2 into a liquid. Other projects include a large Washington State system requiring ozone saturation to aid in the treatment of potable water. In addition to the numerous sales proposals going out, the sales team has just finished its first meeting with a Chinese group interested in setting up a sales agreement for the Asian market.

Along with the increased sales interest, there are also a couple of ongoing research and development studies in process as well. Two of the projects involve cooling water studies and one involves aquaculture. The increased proposal requests combined with the sales meetings scheduled for the next four weeks marks the biggest jump in interest in our organization this year.

Approaching the end of the third quarter with such a noteworthy increase in request for sales proposals is a positive sign for our company. George Moore, CEO of Solarbrook Water and Power, commented, "We are pleased to announce the advances we are making in the sales process. This is a combination of effects related to the new system of outside reps and an aggressive push from our in house sales staff."
