Solarflare to Speak at 2014 FS-ISAC & BITS Annual Summit

IRVINE, CA--(Marketwired - May 2, 2014) - Solarflare, the leader in application-intelligent 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) networking software and hardware, today announced Scott Schweitzer, Sales Manager of OEM & Federal and Southeast at Solarflare, will be speaking at the 2014 FS-ISAC & BITS Annual Summit in Amelia Island, FL. Scott will introduce Solarflare's new security solutions including SolarSecure and SolarCapture Pro, which enable high speed packet capture, filtering, bridging, and Denial of Service defenses within the host.  

Scott will discuss technical and business challenges of deploying security and monitoring on hosts connected to high-speed networks. Security professionals will learn how they can filter, log, alert on, or rate limit suspicious traffic in the kernel driver or in user space which prevents attacks from impacting adversely the host operating systems or host application performance.

Prior to that he spent eight years leading Myricom's 10-Gigabit Ethernet sales team.
