Sola's Kimberlite Indicator Mineral Exploration Program Uncovers a 2.3 Carat Gem Quality Diamond on Its Rondonia Claims

Follow-Up Drilling Initiated Immediately

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - March 20, 2008) - During the latest phase of its regional kimberlite indicator mineral (KIM) exploration program, Sola Resource Corp (TSX VENTURE:SL) (PINK SHEETS:SOLAF) is concentrating on an area to the west of the Carolina kimberlite that so far has yielded a number of ground-based geophysics anomalies and (KIM) occurrences.

Sola's recent geochemical survey has lead to the discovery of a sizeable macrodiamond on the Company's claims, approximately 3.2 km WSW of the Carolina kimberlite pipe. This macrodiamond is a gem-quality octahedron, white in colour and weighs 2.3 carats. The diamond was accompanied by pyropic garnets and was found within 100 metres of two other previously reported smaller macrodiamonds. This area is discrete from the Carolina pipe/dike system.

Ground-based geophysics in the area has produced numerous anomalies. On the basis of this new diamond discovery, drill testing of these anomalies will begin immediately.

Thomas Kovacs, President of Sola Resource Corp. stated: "Sola has again demonstrated the rewards of the systematic Kimberlite Indicator Mineral program and of our ground-based geophysical surveys. We anticipate that the latest discovery will add significantly to the size and potentials of a kimberlite cluster around the Espigao d'Oeste area"
