Soldi Ventures Inc. Announces Results from the Winter Drill Program on the Rainy River and Cameron Lake claims

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - May 9, 2011) - Soldi Ventures Inc. (Soldi) (TSX VENTURE:SOV) reports that the company has received final assay results from its winter diamond drilling program on its Rainy River and Cameron Lake area claims in northwestern Ontario. Hole FL05-11 on the Cameron Lake "B" block returned a low gold value of 0.91 grams per tonne of gold (g/t Au) across 0.28 metre, as well as anomalous gold (0.22 g/t Au) across 7 metres.

The assay of 0.91 g/t Au came from a narrow pyritic zone in an intermediate metavolcanic rock. The hole was drilled under the Meahan showing, where narrow quartz veins have yielded multi-ounce gold assays in the past. The anomalous gold of 0.22 g/t Au over a 7-metre core length is hosted in a massive mafic to ultramafic rock with disseminated pyrrhotite. The samples were also analyzed for platinum-group metals, but these were not present at anomalous levels.

Two holes were drilled to test airborne conductors on Rainy River Block "C". They intersected mafic metavolcanics with disseminated to streaky pyrrhotite, which explains the conductivity. Samples did not return anomalous gold values.

Surface exploration, primarily prospecting, mapping and sampling, is planned for Rainy River Blocks "B" and "C". On the 14,000-acre block "B", several areas of interest have been defined by previous exploration. Previous prospecting had sampled mineralized rocks that gave assays up to 0.45 grams per tonne gold. A government lake-sediment geochemical survey defined several anomalies up to 229 ppm copper (median value = 50 ppm), one of which also contains the anomalous value of 0.44 ppm silver (median value = 0.13 ppm). The VTEM® airborne survey defined 103 separate EM anomalies that form 36 discrete conductive trends. The longest and strongest of these conductive trends are associated with the margins of the Phinney Lake stock, a high-level granitic body that has intruded into the volcanic pile. Airborne magnetic data show several cross-faults, one of which is spatially associated with the copper-silver lake-sediment anomaly and two separate conductive trends. Block "C" appears to have had little or no prior exploration, and will be significantly advanced by a prospecting and sampling program.
