Solex Resources Corp.: Initial Phase of Diamond Core Drilling Completed on Sayana Prospect and Drilling Underway on Calvario I Target, Macusani Uranium Project, Peru

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - April 10, 2006) - Further to the press release dated April 3, 2006, Solex Resources Corp. (TSX VENTURE:SOX) ("Solex" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that the initial phase of diamond core drilling consisting of 8 holes was completed on the Sayana Prospect, Macusani Uranium Project, Southern Peru.

The drilling tested an area 100 metres by 50 metres to a depth of approximately 30 to 50 metres. Previous trenching returned near surface mineralization values as high as 1% Uranium over 5 metres, 0.132% over 14.5 metres, 0.195% over 8 metres, 0.5% over 5 metres and 0.479% over 4 metres. Assay results from the drilling will be released on receipt. Down-hole radiometric surveys will be carried out to further evaluate and correlate with assays the extent of the mineralization.

The drill is being mobilized to Calvario I Prospect located approximately 16 kilometres to the north. A total of 12 core holes are planned to test exposed uranium mineralization as well the strongest over-limit AlphaTrack radon anomaly. The Puncopata and Agaton targets will also be tested by diamond drilling. The drilling will assist in establishing potential grade and continuity of the uranium mineralization.

Frontier Pacific Mining Corporation (TSX VENTURE:FRP) ("Frontier Pacific"), the Operator, is earning a 50% interest in the 50,000 hectare Macusani project by spending US$4 million over five years.

The analysis from Macusani drilling will be performed by Activation Laboratories Ltd. ("Actlabs"), Ancaster, Ontario, Canada. Actlabs has a preparation laboratory in Lima, Peru.

Mohan R. Vulimiri, MSc, PGeo, Chairman of Frontier Pacific and Director of Solex, is the person responsible for initiating and guiding the work programs. Brian Malahoff, BSc, PGeo, is responsible for the direct, on-site supervision of the drilling. Mr. Vulimiri and Mr. Malahoff are qualified persons in accordance with National Instrument 43-101 guidelines.
