Solex Resources Corp.: Macusani Uranium Project South-Eastern Peru; Trench and Pit Sampling Returns High Grade Uranium Values on Three New Targets

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Sept. 30, 2005) - Solex Resources Corp. (TSX VENTURE:SOX)(CNQ:SOLX) ("Solex") and Frontier Pacific Mining Corporation, (TSX VENTURE:FRP) ("Frontier Pacific"), both junior mineral exploration companies listed on the TSX Venture Exchange are pleased to announce that high grade uranium values were obtained from sampling in trenches and pits on three targets, Triumfador - Calvario II, Tuturamani, and Sayana, Macusani uranium project, South-Eastern Peru. These three targets are in addition to the two targets, Calvario I and Agaton, delineated in previous sampling and radiometric survey programs. These near to surface and highly accessible mineralization targets can be characterized as being appropriate for open pit mining. These mineralization targets are disseminated in highly porous volcanic rock formations which readily provide for low cost recovery and leachable operations.

The assays from the three targets are as follows:

In the Tuturumani area the samples were taken in pits and trenches over an area of 500 metres by 50 metres. Mineralization extends over an area of approximately 600 metres by 200 metres in Triumfador - Calvario area. In the Sayana Zone pits and trenches have delineated the uranium mineralization in an area 200 metres by 50 metres.

Detailed radiometric and AlphaTrack radon surveys are being planned to determine the extent of this mineralization in preparation for a detailed drill program for resource and grade estimation. Reconnaissance radiometric surveys and the sampling program will be continued to evaluate the Joint Venture's large 40,000 hectare holdings.

The analysis was performed by the Australian subsidiary of ALS Chemex Labs of North Vancouver, BC, Canada. Peter Tegart, P.Geo., President, Frontier Pacific, and Mohan R. Vulimiri, M.Sc., P. Geo., Chairman, Frontier Pacific are the persons responsible for initiating and guiding the work programs. Mr. Tegart and Mr. Vulimiri are qualified persons in accordance with National Instrument 43-101 guidelines.

Frontier Pacific holds an option to earn a 50% interest in the 40,000 hectare Macusani Project from Solex for a cash payment of $US 50,000 (paid), 1,500,000 common shares (200,000 paid) and $US 4,000,000 in exploration expenditures.
