Somansa Awarded GSA Schedule Contract 70 for IT

Data Loss Prevention Software Approved for Government Agencies


SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwire - January 12, 2011) - Somansa Technologies, Inc. (www.somansatech.com), developer of data loss prevention and regulatory compliance products, announced today that it has been awarded a United States Government Service Administration (GSA) Schedule contract. The GSA contract, number GS-35F-0140W, applies to the company's Somansa Mail-i and DB-i products, providing messaging security and database protection solutions.

The contract lists Somansa on an approved GSA Schedule which enables the software provider to market its data security and regulatory compliance products directly to federal government agencies. Under the GSA Schedule Contract, government customers will have greater access to commercial goods and services based on GSA approved pricing and license terms. The program also provides Somansa broader access to government customers' budgets.
