Somerset International Group Implements New Sales Strategy to Enhance Sales of Its Campus Security Solution

Sales Engine International Using Cost-Effective and Results-Oriented E-mails and Webinars to Demonstrate Effectiveness of Secure System

BEDMINSTER, NJ--(Marketwire - March 12, 2008) - Somerset International Group, Inc. (OTCBB: SOSI) (, a security technology holding company, has engaged Sales Engine International (, a company that provides sales and marketing solutions through innovative, web-based applications and methods, to implement and execute a new sales strategy for its campus security solution, Secure System.

Sales Engine International's nurture marketing approach includes using targeted e-mail campaigns, webinars, and phone follow-up to increase sales productivity while reducing cost of sales. As part of this process, Sales Engine implements the Sales Avatar™, which provides a virtual presentation to deliver the company's message to website visitors, as well as through e-mail campaigns. This method, as seen on the Secure System website (, provides an economical sales model that allows the company to demonstrate its products and initiate an informed sales relationship. The combination of the Sales Avatar and frequent webinars, provides in-depth information to the customer, and qualified sales leads, to Somerset through Sales Engine International.

Sales Engine International is working with Somerset to target both university administration and student government leaders to attend webinars featuring Secure System. This approach allows Somerset to address all aspects of the sales cycle including awareness, lead generation, advancing sales opportunities, and closing of the sale. Holding webinars creates a cost-effective first step in initiating relationships with interested potential customers.

"Somerset is an ideal company to work with to implement the Sales Engine International sales model," said Paul Rafferty, founding partner of Sales Engine International. "Sales methods have shifted to include more web-based techniques. Since the majority of all sales begin with a web-based search, our strategy is to increase sales productivity through the web at a cost-effective level. We are able to target large, yet qualified, audiences for Somerset. We have already seen positive results from the implementation of our Sales Avatar both through email distribution and on Somerset's website. We look forward to the effects of our continued efforts."

"Working with Sales Engine International has provided Somerset with the tools we need to drive our sales efforts forward," commented John X. Adiletta, Chief Executive Officer of Somerset. "Since implementing the Sales Avatars on our website and hosting webinars about our products and services we have seen an increase of 600% in the traffic driven to our site."

Mr. Adiletta concluded, "Campus security is a matter that is top-of-mind for students, universities, colleges, and legislators. With thefts, assaults, date rapes, and murders becoming more prevalent on college campuses, we believe it is vitally important for campus communities to consider implementing the Secure System solutions. Sales Engine International has already opened many doors to us, and we are pleased with the results that this relationship has provided in the short time that we have worked together."
